Hello Ken: I could not believe that there was a site devoted to the 102nd Tactical Fighter Wing. I
served under General Charles Sweeney when the Wing "flewed" to Phalsbourg, France during
1961-1962 in the second Berlin Crisis. I served in supply under a wonderful man, Captain Paul
Rouillard. He did me a wonderful turn by helping me get into Suffolk University Ken I would love
to contact him and thank him for his kindness.. Hope I am not too late. Great site!

Brings back good memories, I moved to Buttlers point in Marion in 1971 and got to see some great fly
overs and when 9-11 happened it just gave me chills to hear them take off every day, I'd say to
my wife there they go, go gettem boys, something going down like the shoe bomber, even got to help
one of the crew chefs with his car, it ran out of trany fluid, in 2003, I drove him to a gas station
and we got some more fluid and fill up his car and he gave me this wounderful hat, th

Thanks Ken for the great website/tribute to the 102nd Fighter Wing-a giant in the F-15 community for
21+ yrs. As a weekender on the flightline w/the F-106s from '79-'85 and an R&R Mech.
on the F-15s from '90-'05, I have alot of fond memories of the people & the mission.
Can still recall all the old weekenders that I worked with that were on the Phaulsbourg activation
and the Logan stories!!!!!

Great that the 0102 is saved. When I was watching the Eagles at Soesterberg I saw 0102 several times
with another nice tailcode.... Time flies
